For everyone asking, the anime is Tales of Zestiria, it’s also a PS4 game. The two have quite a few differences, especially in the 2nd season of the anime, and in my opinion the game is better, as the anime has quite a few plot holes. However, if you’ve no idea about the game, the anime does stand pretty well as a separate thing.
No, they’re not strictly canon, but word of god and quite a lot of stuff in game really heavily imply that they’re intended to be. Neither of them end up with either of the two main girls - in fact, in the anime, (spoiler) the two main girls end up together.
Finally, please read the description in future, because the anime name, at least, is in there...

This is, like a really recent comment but I really wanted to say how much I love this AMV. Being someone who entered the fandom really late, I missed a lot of things. Pretty sad about that but it still means a lot being able to read old posts, videos, analysis, etc. This AMV is one of my favorites.
