GData on Python 3 is a Dead End. Using GSpread from github

Given the choice of staying on Python 3.4 and working around GData or going back to Python 2.7 and coding myself into the past, I'll choose Python 3 and workarounds any day. Thankfully, one of those workarounds is a Github project called GSpread—much more lightweight than GData to boot.

I'm hoping to get there one day. I find it interesting you're not doing your work in virtualenv or maybe even a little local VM. I'd like to use my RPi more, but it's somewhat location dependent for access (i.e. at home) unless I open it up to the web -- plus it can feel really slow at times.
