Fixing Speed Queen top loader washer at laundromat -washer repair - How to Own a Laundromat $
Have to fix the speed queen top load washer. The top load speed queen washer coin box is broke. It was vandalized by meth heads, investment ruined. The other top loader had a bad seal, so I took the coin box off it to fix the other. That way instead of two machines down now have one. Just wanted to show how to fix your laundromat the easy way make a good return on my investment. Help save on costly equipment companies who over charge for repairs. The laundromat is a mess and have to clean it up. I even have a customer start asking questions about the camera. In all not a bad day in the laundromat. Investment in laundromat pay off big. The joy of running a laundromat is fun for me. I like repairing things and the joy of the challenge.

Keenan, thank you for these kinds of videos. I don't own a laundromat, nor do I have much of a desire to. I'm the head of maintenance for a large building that has a ground-floor laundry room for all of the residents. We run Alliance Speed Queen machines. I've done a decent job over the years of learning as I go when it comes to repairs and maintenance of the machines (as you know, 9 times out of 10 it's a common problem like a water pump, belt, or a coil set). When it comes to a transmission or a hub and seal kit, I call in the pros or replace the machine. Your channel, since I found it, has been a great help to me. Frankly, I'm surprised that it hasn't grown more quickly due to the content. Your channel is an amazing resource that is free - a rare thing. I am writing this for two reasons: 1.) To thank you for the help you've given me and others thus far, and 2.) To encourage you to keep it up, because I know from experience that your channel will take off. Many times it takes a lot longer than it should, but quality content and integrity will earn its keep. It seems with Youtube that we just need a spark in the "algorithm" to get your channel out there to a larger audience. Sorry for rambling, but it was heartfelt - and thanks again.

The high pitch sound is normal when the machine spins with no load, when the bearing is going it sounds like a jet engine. 24 yrs working on speed queen.

I think someone got confused on what a salad spinner was so thought dryers spin.

A few minutes of time can save you time later on as the cops would also need the model and serial numbers of the equipment so a simple spreadsheet would be useful both for ordering and if there is a theft/fire/flood where you can no longer directly access the equipment to get those numbers.

Do you have a setup to track each machines repair costs over the years? Every time you replace a consumable on it or do a repair put the cost under that machine so you can spot if any of them have a higher then average repair cost and if any of them have a lower then average repair cost.

Up until 1980, the Speed Queen too loaders had solid tubs with no holes. The centrifugal force throwing the water over the top of the tub into the outer tub was how it drained! Then it pumped out from there.

I must say thank you to all of you owners that post videos on Laundromats. You have shown me how much money there really is in this business. With all the break downs and maintenance for someone that isn't really handy on fixing things. There isn't a ton of money in this business. It looks like I would be debt up to my eyeballs. The other thing is I really hate dealing with the public, I worked in a grocery store years ago. That's when I learned people are really stupid. Yet, providing a service does make money. Now I'm looking into starting an ATM business, once I get enough money I will be looking into kick-starting a laundromat then sell it for a profit. The best part of an ATM business is you don't have to deal with the public. The store owner and their employees have to deal with the stupid people that can't work the machine.

The high pitched noise in spin cycle is air going through the holes of the inner tub. this happens when no clothes are in it. The bearings will make a different noise than that.

It took 20 or more times to glue my Toilet Seat Bolt back Why I didn't just buy new bolts you ask because these are the walmart ez lift ones and there's no replacements. so I'm not spent $20 on a new seat so bought some Locktite gel super glue for $2 from meijer its been 2 weeks so far the record is 3.
