Thank you for the tip on pulling them up. I will try this. I also have some french carrots that grow the same and may try them too.

I got my hydroponic unit. It's not an Aerogarden, it's one made by a company called Naimp which I bought from Amazon. It does exactly the same job but only cost £49.95. I planted lettuce, dill, chilli, basil, Gardeners Delight cherry tomatoes, rocket, rosemary and chives. The only thing that didn't grow was the chives so I'm trying them again. I have spinach and cilantro hopefully germinating using your paper towel method. It's amazing how quickly the plants have grown. I had to raise the lights yesterday because the dill was touching them and 24 hours later, the dill is touching them again. Think I might harvest some of it. These were all planted on the 12th June. We've already been eating leaves from the lettuce. It just throws out more leaves. It will be really good to be able to have fresh veg and herbs all through winter. I'm so impressed by the unit, I'm going to get a second one and hopefully grow strawberries in it. I look forward to your videos as they are so helpful. Thank you 😊

Interesting approach pulling radishes up to allow the tuber to increase in size. The Purple Plum is a beautiful variety, and one I would like to grow. I'm perplexed over the variability in size, and what causes that to happen.

Very cool! Would be interested to see what you think of swiss chard in aerogarden! I have recently started growing some, inspired by you - I hear they can be a good spinach substitute!
