Was trying to figure out why my DNS wouldn't resolve the names. Then you mentioned flushdns and I slapped my forehead because I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!

Do you have a tutorial that shows how to configure the DNS so that each user that connect to the forti VPN, obtains a unique DNS entry based on his vpn account name which can be used by other VPN users to make his PC reachable via FQDN ?

I know this is an old video but I found your channel lately and it is really helpful. I have a fortigate 200F in VDOM mode. Two clients are being hosted on the firewall.
I am wondering if there is a way to set the Dns per vdom like you did in this video inside the gui or do I have to use the command line.

On my fortigate, I can't find System > Feature Visibility screen and enable DNS Database.

Is it hardware limitation or FortiOS limitation? I use FG-101F v 7.0.11

if dns server is dc on pc. then how can fortigate help figure out what pc the dns query originated from?
flow is, pc --> Domain Controller which is dns server --> fortigate firewall --> external.
