Ollie Stairs Revisited

I am 3 years into skateboarding and every week I feel I have a new revelation. In this video, I will go through some adjustments I have made to my Ollie technique, which have made a significant improvement to my form and consistency. I then tackle the stairs to see if I am able to land better ollies than I previously did.

Want to echo what others have said this channel is massively helpful mate, I'm in my 30s and just started a month ago, just getting to grip with the basics and I love the way you show your progression without hiding the setbacks and stalls. Keep it up!

Amazing video! It's so cool to see the progression of someone instead of seeing someone doing only perfect & clean tricks - that's boring. Keep it up, you're a very sypathic person!

Hey Adnan, I've started skating at the age of 29 in the UK and you're a massive inspiration!

I've been struggling with my ollies for a couple of months - they look quite similar to your rocketed ollies from before. I've been focussing on sliding the front foot but can't seem to get it far past the rocketed stage - I know you said you don't do tutorials but would love some more tips of how you got yours to how they look today!

Super job. You can't underestimate the little dip just at the top of the step, that makes the set so much harder.

Stairs are my goal this year, stairs and heelflips! There’s a 3 set similar size at my local library I’ve wanted to do since I was 16, got hammered on all the spirits in the cupboard for bravery and tried and failed once so quit, now at the tender young age of 34 and the roads being empty in the mornings I am going to more than likely fail 2 or 3 times this time! Ha nah I’m going to nail them!!

At 30, decided to get back into skateboarding after 17 years. Had my very first lesson today - managed to get an ollie! Keep these videos going...

Nice one, Adnan. Always gotta get that confidence first and then work on technique and form. I bet that if you hit this up again soon, you'd likely have nice solid ollie down and up. Keep killing it, bro.
