My 1997 E320 has virtually all the same features and presence less the lightshow dash. Way ahead if its time then, not so sure the new one offers anything more than confusion and distraction to the driving experience. However, if price is fair, I'd consider it. Best MB of them all.

Terrible frontal console with those screens occupying way too much real-estate. We are going to look back at this type of design solutions with terror and humour. Some manufacturers thinks the more screen estate you have the better, but it's not proven at all. On the contrary it get's distracting and unfriendly. The E-class looked way better two models prior to this. You can see a balanced blend between screen data and tactile operation in many Audi models. MB should take notes.

20 years ago maybe. Today, why would anyone pay 50-100% more than a fully loaded Toyota or Honda for a car that will last half the mileage, cost double to maintain, and is only marginally more comfortable? People are truly willing to waste their wealth away to buy an image of success and nothing else.
