'In 2022…': US Spy Chief's Huge Nuclear Attack Plan Claim | Russia-Ukraine War | CIA

CIA director William Burns made a big revelation on Putin's war strategy against Ukraine during the initial days of the invasion in 2022. Speaking alongside the UK's MI6 head Richard Moore for the first time, Burns claimed that "there was a genuine risk that Russia would use tactical nuclear weapons in the early months of the Ukraine war." He added that the sudden breakthrough of Russian troops in the north-east of Ukraine stoked fears that Putin would use the most extreme measures.

It's hard to believe that two supposedly learned and intelligent people can come out with such playground rhetoric. It has become undeniable by the act of these two sitting together in public and making such fanciful claims, that the US, the world's number bully has finally met in Putin someone who has stood up to them squarely and said enough is enough and in typical bully fashion they resort to whinging and whining. On the subject of nuclear it seems that the USA has been the most persistently vocal on this - Putin has repeatedly - and only in reply to their raised concerns - spoke on the subject. These gentleman, instead of fear mongering about red lines, would do well to remember that Mutually Assured Destruction is the main deterrent of nuclear arms and they should treat the subject and the citizens of this planet with more respect.
