I'll be using it for several different angle shots, that's what cool about this camera is it can be mounted in any position and the video will be level.

thanks bro! Yeah the go pro hero 2 is better but the contour is going to be a permanent full time bike camera. You can hook a 12 volt to the camera and it will run off 12V while filming. So every time I ride my bike I will have video surveillance on my riding sessions all the time.

Get the go pro hero 2, I've had no issues with it what so ever. On the other hand, I hear a lot of complaints regarding the GPH3. Skip the Drift Ghost too, people are having problems with those as well.

Yeah the contour works fine with the Mac, I also use a mac but I use the basic imovie 11.

Have you had any issues with the Go Pro 2? I was all set to get the 3 black until I started reading all the bad reviews on it. Now considering the Drift HD ghost or the Go Pro 2 until they get all the bugs worked out with the GP 3.

Yeah I am thinking GP2 might be best option at this point until I know for sure they have issues fixed on the 3. Thanks for advice

The only reason I got the Go Pro 3 is that it works with my mac software for video editing. Not sure if the Contour would work. I have Final Cut Express.

I have a couple contour cameras, a Roam 2 and a Contour 2+. I know the sony has better sound and video quality but the Laser, mounting system, rotatable lens and easy on off switch blow away any other cameras. So thats why Im sticking with contour.  I hope they come out with a camera that has Bluetooth audio connectivity like the new Sena camera. That would top it off.
