I finally have a honeypot ant!
This beauty is called Myrmecosystus mexicanus, and she'll make beautifull workers (if she founds)

Think I have the skills/luck?

I got mexicanus and Navajo honey pots, Mexicanus tends to be more sensitive. I found success with both by making sure they have sugar all the time, they love watery sugars, the less the thick the better. Also these ants must be kept in the dark during initial stages, stress can easily kill the queen. My navajo are on 100 workers and my mexiacanus (second attempt) are on 50 plus, Mexicanus quickly produce repletes, make sure they have something to hang on.

Hi Nico, been watching your videos for a while and I love them. You really helped me with your videos on Polyrhachis Dives. I have a question for you: Is quality ants a reputable and trustworthy seller?
