How did I miss this video? Leo is a great reviewer, and I love his on-location pen reviews. And he cited two of my favorite modern pens: the Pelikan m800 and the Pilot Custom 823.

Another great Top 3 Appelboom Pennen! Leo is a serious pen pro and it was interesting to hear his top 3. Totally surprised it wasn't Pilot, Pilot Pilot...

Thanks for sharing! I like Pelikan so much too. That’s the reason that I have bought so many of these pens as my private collections. 😊😊😊

Wonderful episode - I'm a big fan of Leo! I was really surprised that, despite all the insane, unusual pens he showcases on his instagram, two of his top three pens are the relatively humble and run-of-the-mill m800 and the pc 823. I guess it just goes to show that the best pens for actual writing are not necessarily the most expensive or elaborate...

Someone didn't watch the whole video while editing 😂
But it is great as is! Nice pens!

Haven’t seen Leo’s videos in a while. I don’t think I’m subscribed, actually.
Fantastic choices, obviously. But I can’t believe that I’m yet to own a Pelikan pen.
The PC 823 is a compelling pick in any top 3. It really is that good and special. The 823 would easily be in my own top 3 if the Aurora 88 (both the vintage classic and any of the superb modern ones I own) and the Sheaffer Legacy II were not already set there.

Thank you for your presentation. You are so right how the CON-70 has this mysterious hidden chamber that holds ink which makes it very difficult to clean. Thank goodness that there are syringes to take care of the problem or at least save some time.

Will we see Nakaya’s at Appelboom?

Pilot converters are not my favourites.
Pilot nibs are awesome.
I have a Kakuno with a B stub from a Pluminix which is butter smooth.
My desk pens are a Pilot Custom heritage 912 with the falcon super flex nib and a vintage Conway Stewart 84 with a gold fine stub flexy nib in green and black celluloid cracked ice finish. It's from the 1950s.
Vintage pens are the greenest way to go, , so I don't buy any new pens anymore.
