'FGO Myth Busters' : Bazett edition

Fun little compilation of strange interactions with bazett's NP, hope you enjoy ~

*The question regarding guts during solos is caused by the taunt effect, so its not exclusive to bazett

I was so expecting 2 Bazzets to go like:

Counter - counter - counter!
Counter - counter - counter - counter!
Counter - counter - counter - counter - counter!

And so on, until one of them was dead. Oh well, reality is often disapointing...

So, Bazett's Fragarach breaks the enemy's animations like certain taunt+Guts scenarios. That Angra attacking thin air caught me off guard.

For those confused by the last part, basically, debuff effects of Oberon's S2 and S3 do not trigger if guts activates at the same turn where it would normally trigger. Plushie made a vid on that a few months back, as a way of delaying Oberon's Eternal sleep on Morgan. It was pretty impractical there but for Bazett, it could be useful for her on a 3rd wave. In the first run here, there was no guts and Bazett is affected with sleep at the end of that turn due to Oberon's s3 so she doesn't get to fire off her Frag or take advantage of the NP buff. In the second run, the curse and other DOT effects proc and activated guts that was put on Bazett as a way of stopping the Sleep effect of Oberon's S3. So once the turn ends, she keeps the buffs and isn't affected by the demerit parts of Oberon's s3

According to her passive, Bazett extends her attack-related buff to the end of enemies' 3rd turns. But Oberon's 3rd skill applies the Eternal sleep Demerit effect which is concluded as Debuff and will trigger at the end of Bazett turns. That's why he isn't compatible with Bazett. That's why we need the gut buff to extend demerit.

Angra Mainyu's NP being the exception to everything again, it's kind of hilarious his NP isn't considered anything in the game xD

Bazett don't use face cards.
She only uses Trap Cards.

I think a very good reason they didn't have the counters work on each other is the possibility of both having an invulnerable states. It could have softlocked the game.

I started a new account around the time the Case Files rerun was about to end. Pulled Reines there and now used up the remaining SQ (it was a Quartz account) to get Bazett. And well, she's legitimately useful as a farmer. Hell, you don't even need Reines; just the free Waver + any 20% charger (and a support Skadi) and you can make a working 3T comp with her and Arash. It's even running full CE bonus thanks to the event CEs having starting charge. Depending on the enemy types their AI can screw you over, of course, but considering how new the account is it's pretty damn impressive I can full bonus 3T on it at all. And that's while her main use isn't that of a farmer at all, but rather that of a CQ destroyer. They really did her justice in that she's one hell of an allrounder.

Kind of disappointed that Fragarach doesn't turn back time and hard-counters trump cards like it's supposed to, but that would have probably been too powerful considering how much of a powerhouse she is already.
