something to note is not only do you need physical access to a card, passport, or car keys, in order to read and then emulate the signal, but many of these are secure. Cars for example use rolling code to keep track of which key actually belongs to the car. Basically ever since you got the car, every time you lock/unlock the car, there is a number associated with both, and will continuously count up until the max number and reset. Once you record this frequency on a flipper with your key, it WILL technically work, but only once, and then your key fob will need to be resynced with the car, making it functionally useless until you do so. If you know what youre doing, you CAN emulate rolling code on the flipper, so if you really wanted, you could make your flipper one of your two fobs, but doing it to someone elses vehicle without them noticing would be basically impossible. this is also why you cant just unlock someone elses car if its the same model. Scanning simple RFID, subgz, or infrared cards/frequencies/remotes are very simple, like a garage door, library card, hotel card, tvs and whatnot. However, basically everything else youve seen, like scanning credit cards, passports, isnt real. Credit and debit cards use a much more secure method in their chips. Unlike other cards, having a set code, or frequency, bank cards will update every time they are used - similar to rolling code in a car, but more sophisticated. Instead of a simple number, or something counting up, it will be a whole new string of code and the card will cycle through different ones that the bank would tell it to, after every transaction. Plus as id mentioned earlier, to do this they would need physical access to your card, so they are more well off taking a photo than trying to use their flipper. There are actual tools for these things, and the flipper is not one of them. The only thing scary about the flipper is the badUSB feature.

It's important to note that the passport's IC is password protected, and the password is printed on the inside of the passport, so you can't read them at a distance from inside someone's pocket. Even if you were to read and replace one, the data within is cryptographically signed, so modifying it makes it useless.
