In this video, I'm going to share with you how to get into PA school the first time!
PA school is a competitive admissions process, and the first step is to get your application ready. I'll share with you the steps you need to take to get your application ready and improve your chances of being accepted to PA school the first time!

About me:

I’m Michele Neskey, aka The Posh PA. Welcome to my channel! My mission is to provide personalized guidance, education, and motivation to build confidence and promote wellness for aspiring physician assistants and beyond.

Having been a PA for 17+ years and helped hundreds of students gain acceptance into PA school, I understand the admissions process. I know what they are looking for, and I can help you tailor every component to make you shine, giving you the BEST chance of getting accepted to a program. But it doesn't end there. I create personalized plans for PA students and practicing PAs including test-taking strategy for the PANCE, contract negotiations, and tools to overcome and prevent provider burnout.

My goal is to get you into a physician assistant (PA) school & survive the rigorous program, help you prevent burnout as a practicing PA, and help you take care of yourself so you can be the best version of YOU for your patients, family, and most importantly YOU!

Soooo. I'm enrolled for the fall to take prerequisites for PA programs here in NY. I already have a non science bachelors. I'm also in a patient care tech traning program that ends around when classes start. My goal is to work part time and get PCE hours while I'm in school. It will take me 2 years to get through all my prerequisites. The whole journey will take me 5 years if everything goes as planned. The only thing is I'm 48 so I'll be 50 when/if I get accepted to PA school. Am I nuts to attempt this at my age? Have you met older students in PA programs? Thank You.

Do you think it makes sense for people in their mid to late 40' s to apply. I won't be able to apply for about 3-4 years. If I do get in, I won't be done until I'm 49 - 50 years old. It just seems so far away.

Hi! I have a bachelor's in biotechnology and am willing to enter the PA program. However, PA programs require certain preclinical hours as their admission requirements. The point is I don't have any! Is there any chance I can enter into PA program?

How does it work if I want to apply in May, but I’ll need to take my last microbiology in the summer? Should I wait to apply until later then?

This maybe a little misleading but not everyone will get in on their first try.. the number of seats vs applicants 🤔🤔🤔.. and that's ok..
