Doing these albums in ASMR has given me a newfound respect for the artistry of Taylor Swift’s lyrical choices. I loved the songs the instant I heard them, of course. But, breaking them down word-by-word has given me more of an insight into how each line is crafted. The interweaving themes and motifs in Folklore are simultaneously tragic and beautiful. What a marvel of songwriting and storytelling! :)))
