Your MS-DOS Starter Pack is a lifesaver. It makes things soo much easier to get going.

"And it will create three 2TB partitions"

Don't you think It's maybe a bit too much for MS-DOS?
But then again you could fit lots of doom mods there.

Great, now I feel guilty about all of the perfectly fine old PC's I threw away!

Great video and boot-up menu, very helpful! However, the CD-ROM is not detected by the system when I boot up. Does the CD-ROM driver require the sound blaster software to be setup beforehand if the optical drive is plugged into the IDE on the sound card (mine is)?

awesome i plan on doing this to an old medion laptop that thing can barely handle win7 :D so i plan on making it a dos machine with a crap ton of older games and such.
because the laptop is super light i kinda have a no internet dos gaming machine. but i also plan on saving my passwords on it as my 3rd storage for them.

Thanks for the starter pack - great idea. In case someone would like to remove the starter pack what would be the best way going about it?

Hi Phil, great vid as usual. I'm a long time follower, on Vogons also ;)
Now, it's time for you to make some vids on how to fine-tune autoexec and config files ;)

Congrats, again from Italy.

Can you get around the 4x2GB partition limit if you put in multiple physical drives? I remember reading somewhere that earlier versions of DOS (before 4.0) could only support up to 32MB partitions, but could have up to 2 partitions on up to 23 logical drives (which could be spread between 2 physical drives). I think it was a Vogons thread
