Those messages are part of thaumcraft. The negative effects of learning forbidden magic, called warp. Any magic which has a purple pulse around it

This was the video that got me into the channel. But i found the video while looking on how to make a wand with the alchemicle wand caps. (the wand was a profane wand.)

Those purple messages in the left bottom are from thaumcraft, caused by warp. You can read about warp in your thaumomonomadingicon... but basicly because of forbidden research (not forbidden magic) and a bunch of other stuff, you get warp and that causes some debuffs depending on how much warp you have. It can become pretty crazy, but it can also unlock some research if you have enough

Te mesage is one of many symptoms caused by unlocking the reserches with a dark glow around them the blod wand for example

I always like to see end game features of mods to let me know if I want to use the mod, and this has definitely sold me. Makes me want to play with thaumcraft a whole lot more.

If there are any cool end game features in botania or forestry, I would love for you to show them. They look cool, but I'm not sure about all the time it takes to get somewhere if they don't have anything good in the end.

Im playing the 1.5.1 version from FTB Infinity on a Nitrado 24/7 Server. I used the Portal Gun Portals,  but I had to find out, that the portals are removed whenever the Server restarts. How can I prevent the portals from removing?

The messages are from the eldritch portion of thaumcraft the more you research the worse they get I think
