Fun fact 1: Quagsire has a hilarious competitive history of just kind of showing up and beating things it has no right to beat like Zacian or Kyogre. Quagsire is unaware of what tiers are and just decides to show up and the other Pokémon just have to live with it.

Fun fact 2: Giant Salamanders are actually apex predators despite not being super aggressive or strong since their size, sliminess, and low nutritional value makes them not worthwhile prey to basically everything. As such, Quagsire by proxy is an apex predator in Pokémon by just being too big and stupid to be worth fighting. This goofy smile belongs to the uncontested ruler of its habitat.
