Caleb, I am so sorry you are going through this. My 23 year old daughter went to be with the Lord September 26, 2023. She died from an autoimmune disease that was attacking her since about the age of 13. I can't say I felt her pain, but I saw it, and lived it along side her. I weep for you and the pain you have felt for so long, I ask the Lord that he would strengthen you. She too said that if the Lord did not heal her here that she wanted to not be here anymore. You said that your parents love you and I have no doubt about that, you also need to know that your life has not been in vain. You are leaving a mark in this world. I too was tired in the last days of her life but wish that she could have been here just a little bit longer even if it was hard, but that's me being selfish because she was truly a gift from God that I was not ready to give back. This life is so hard sometimes, may our Lord and Savior hear your cries as he heard my daughter's. May he give you rest in one way or another. Heaven is so much more present now that she is up there and I'm sure that many are looking up thinking about their future now when they seldom did before her departure. My daughter's name was Amaris, it means gift from God, she was also a thoughtful gift giver, and before being put on life support she was playing the song A Gift by Josh Garrels. I know where she is, resting with our heavenly Father, I will see her again. May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, give you peace, and the rest you desire. In Jesus name. Amen
