Whatever the result is, huge credit to Adam for the way he rebounded on the 2nd set. He was able to raise the level of his groundstroke to prevent Mark of overpowering him like he did on the 1st set. The quality of the rallies was really nice to see.

I love it when Adam confirmed that he does have that one-handed backhand shot when he needed it. That's cold but awesome at the same time.

12:12 is the one of the best rally point I have seen in recreational level tennis! Big kudos to both. I was praying for Adam to win that point.

Just a thought guys...What about a part 2 to this Bracket challenge? Perhaps having Mike, Cole, Topher and Ira...and the winner of those plays an internal ET championship game?
Can't wait for Part 2.
Cheers.

Some really excellent tennis! Thanks! I'd like to see Mark pull out his big--boy serve more than he does. Playing indoors, no sun, no wind, on a relatively fast court - use the serve as a weapon. Get some "cheap" points.

That is some of the best tennis we have seen from Essential Tennis. Great fun to watch.

Tennis is wonderful sport, even at recreational level. I love how the channel put an effort on having variety (instructional tennis and actual matches) I'd love to see breakdowns of points from this matches and more analysis.

It's been a treat so far. I remember seeing that BH from Adam in a previous match with Scott (I think?). It was at the very end of the game and Adam had it in...almost. :)
Amazing!

Wow great playing. Really grinding these rallies out. Adam uses his left arm very well to provide stability to his backhand. It’s very consistent and that lets him use the opponents power for himself and makes redirecting easier. Mark plays a little less of a counter puncher game so he seemed pretty off against such a consistent opponent. Maybe he could stay a little closer to the baseline since there’s not too much of a threat that he’ll get pushed back and ran around due to the power and speed of his opponents shots.

Incredible tennis! Some awesome rallies and enviable resilience. I'm not a coach or even as remotely consistent or strong a player as Adam, but I wonder if he can add more power to his forehand if he hit it off his front leg (not the back leg). His backhand (which he hits off his front leg) is a weapon because of that front leg power, unlike his forehand.

Hats off to Adam for raising his level after getting broken at the start of this set! Those middle couple of games were hot fire!
