As an American, I 100% clearly understood everything he said, and had no difficulty whatsoever. However, my cheat code was that my father was from Southampton, and I grew up around his friends who had a wide array of accents from all across England.

Doesn’t a Liverpool accent have a mix of Welsh and Scottish in it as well? I love it, it’s really neat! Love from America!

Went to Liverpool back in 2014 while traveling through England. Not a bad joint!

Cheers from an Aussie

I actually was just joking with my boyfriend about Scouse accents being unintelligible, but then I found this and realized I can actually understand them perfectly because of the 9th Doctor

There’s a couple of variations of the scouse accent, the north end accent and the south end accent . I’ve a north end accent, ours is a bit harsher than the south end one which is a little bit wool to be honest 😂

As an American, I only pick up what they are saying so we’ll because I watch so much European football.
It’s the Scottish that I don’t think I’ll ever understand 😅

I’m Canadian, I understood fully without any issue. Those who can’t are deaf, or willfully ignorant.

Sounds like Scottish and British mixed. Learning Scouse for a book I'm writing and I haven't laughed harder.

Why do people from London and Great Britain hate this accent so much. He's speaking clearly like regular English

If someone from the 1500s UK time traveled into Scouser territory they'd fit right in.
