Russia-Ukraine Latest: Gas Transit, Ceasefire Outlook

Ukraine is under mounting pressure from Slovakia and a group of central European companies to keep gas moving from its eastern border with Russia into the European Union following the expiration of a transit agreement on Dec. 31. Meanwhile Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy are set for protracted ceasefire negotiations in the new year with US President-elect Donald Trump saying he wants to bring the war to a rapid end. Bloomberg's Henry Meyer reports.

I don't claim to be an expert on these matters, but wasn't it Ukraine who didn't renew the arrangement with Gazprom?
The EU must learn to not depend on Russia for Anything!

Four Ukrainian pretty large cities will fall in the next month - month and a half: Toretsk, Kurakhovo, Velika Novoselka and Chasov Yar. This will probably change the Ukrainian attitude to the Russian demands.

The problem is that all warmongers can't think 2 steps ahead. There is an entire gas structure that was spared during the conflict and that can now be targeted by Russian air power. Think of the disaster that will be!
