Actually Furina is humble and sweet. She had to pretend like a bratty person and for centuries she never got be herself not even for once.

I think what most people forget is that the Traveler is OLD. Most likely hundreds of years of old from traveling from one world to the next. So he/she understand Furina's pain the most. They've probably met friends from one world and were forced to see not said friends, but also that friends' children and grandchildren grow old and die.

Furina, and I say this with no bias, nor with any sort of hyperbole. But she is by far one of, if not the most well written character in the game i've seen thus far. Everything up until her introduction at the End of Sumeru's Archon Quest, the start of Fontaine and finally to the end of her story quest. All of it was spectacularly done. Furina has evoked such strong and genuine feelings throughout her story, from beginning to end.

I've genuinely never fallen for a character this much until I met her. She's a great character, and i've always appreciated and love her even before she was introduced in the game. I just knew there was more to her, and sure enough there was. Overall, Furina is a top tier character for me, and will always have a special place in my heart. Although, gameplay wise. i love her kit and it matches me greatly, and i've saved for her (which I previously would not even have considered when it comes to Genshin until I met her) mained her, and even managed to acquire her C2 as a F2P.
