I'm now confident that my man Sandro can do anything 😂

Sandro is practically this channel's host now, I see him every episode.
This isn't a complaint by any means, he is still my favourite guest.

Sandro is easily my favorite guy on this channel, Angelina is a very close second

My son is a union ironworker and certified welder. I taught him to solder when he was about 8 years old, stick welding at 10 and by 12 he was TiG welding. I know how to weld and am lucky enough to buy good welding equipment but I’m no way in the same league as him. His welds are a thing of beauty. They actually asked if he wanted to teach at the union training center when he finished his apprenticeship. He was 22! He told the lead instructor he’d think about it in a few years after he got real world experience under his belt. I’m so proud of my son!

Sandro is so comfortable now that he's been on the show for a pretty long time
I remember how shy he used to be

"Hey you're on fire!"
"I'm almost done"

Sandro has been a hell of a find. However much or little filming he wants to do, you guys have to keep him in the DMCU.

Sandros personal do not do it this way stories are gold. This man has lived. Love how you can hear the whole studio laughing at the shit he says

My Grandpa was a welder for nearly 70 years. When he was helping teach me to weld (when I was 8) I told him that he was a really good welder, he looked at me and said “you can’t be called a GOOD welder until you’ve welded a train car full of wire”. Guess I’m just fair after 48 years, but I can live with that, it came from Grandpa. 😁

Not to brag, but one time I glued my fingers together. If you think about it, I’m pretty much a welder

I am a weld inspector, pipeline among other things as Sandro mentioned. The red stuff you see coming out of the weld at 10:00 is called dye penetrant, it is a specific type of oil colored with dye that draws itself into cracks and other imperfections. The surface is then cleaned and what the guy in the video is spraying is the developer, essentially aerosolised chalk, that draws the red coloring out to the surface.

Also where I live, carnival rides are definitely subject to regular weld inspections, at least on load bearing areas and repairs.

sandro with the "🔥but i'm almost done! 🔥" holy shit is that relatable. when you're 2 inches away from finishing the smoothest bead you've laid all day and you can smell your glove roasting, your hand is getting hot, you just grit the shit out of your teeth and run run run run run and as SOON as that arc breaks you flail your arms like an orangutan.

Sandro and Angelina should have the next low car vs Donut having the high car.

Would love to see a season of HiLo with Sandro and Angelina but instead of a hi car and a lo car they each just have a budget to play with each episode allowing them to cheap on certain things so they can have a higher budget for a different item next episode etc. Would be interesting to see where they decide to spend up or cheap out for certain parts which can be compared overall

I watched an industrial welder do some stainless steel piping connections once and what made me stop to see the outcome was that he was making some weird looking upper body and shoulder movements with a Tig welder. It was the most perfect smooth weld I have ever seen! The flow of the weld looked like a machine had done it.

Sandro needs to be a host on this channel or just put him on for an hour. He’s so funny and knowledgeable.
