I brought my 7 year old daughter to the renaissance, she sang, danced, made me her personal photographer lol. But, most of all I loved being able to show her how music can bring so many different types of people together and that we’re not all very different at the end of the day no matter what we look like or who we love.

She’s loved Beyoncé since she was a little bitty baby singing in her car seat ❤ and seeing how fierce that concert made my baby feel and the looks on her face watching another black woman “Be great”, reinforcing that she IS great too, is a memory with my baby girl that I will cherish forever and I hope she does too!
