A scary surprise in my cruise ship cabin! 🙊🐒

Haha on my last cruise I decided to leave a ‘surprise’ for our stateroom host (because he was a good laugh too) and before going out for the evening, I turned every towel in the room into a chicken and put them in various places and positions in the room.

We came back from dinner and drinks to a note on the bed that said ‘Towel folding activity at 3pm tomorrow. Please go and learn new animals.’ 😂😂 But that wasn’t even the best part….. shortly after I went into the bathroom to wash my face. The rails and shelves were bare, except for another note that said ‘Towels are confiscated until you learn to do better tomorrow.’ 🤣🤣🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I LOL’d so hard. It was just brilliant. And a perfect comeback to my little joke. My man took that joke and really did win by coming back at me with a two-part roast! 😆😆

I enjoy the towel surprises each day
We actually keep them the whole cruise.
We put them in the window or around the room

First cruise: opened our inside cabin door and the monkeys head fell off and rolled to our feet. I Always remember when I see towel animals that haha.

Next time you cruise on Carnival, try to get out to the main Lido pool area early in the morning on the last full day of the cruise. Weather permitting, you should see a towel critter on EVERY lounger by the pool. The room stewards make them and place them as a group. It's one of the little "fun" things -- like "ssshowtime!" -- that makes Carnival uniquely Carnival.

A monkey watching over you? Perhaps, a voodoo, witch doctor, cursed doll watching you as you sleep? I would tear it down in less than a second, and ask housekeeping to not do that again. My cabin would be a towel puppet free zone.

I got into a towel animal battle with my cabin attendant. Most of mine involved the critter sitting on the toilet reading, or legs sticking out of the toilet....on the last night of that cruise we came back to our cabin to find the swan had laid an egg on our bed!
I hung the monkey in the closet so he could get that surprise after we left.

For some reason, I find the towel animals in my cabin somewhat disturbing. So, you can imagine how I'm feeling after watching this! 🙈
