Hey everyone! It's time to take this smashing to Hyrule Temple!

For real though, even before Melee, we had Zelda II and it's iconic Palace theme! Such an amazing piece of VGM that I was so excited about doing a crushing metal arrangement of.

This theme has a really fun chord progression with that minor 3rd, add 6, add augmented 6 vibe all over it then going into a super metal-sounding D major section.

I went into this arrangement just wanting to keep it super driving and epic as hell and I think I pulled that off! The riffs came to me super freely and I had such a blast putting this together.

But ToxicxEternity just doesn't care and nails it anyhow.

Excellent work all the way through, but especially nice job on the solo. Sounds organic and totally avoids feeling out of place, just adds value. That's the best feature of all of your covers: you add layers of excellence without reducing the value or identity of the original piece. I love you, Jack.

This game has been one of my very favorites for a long time and Ive heard oh so many good, great, okay, and bad covers of this song -- this is a really good top 3 for me. A passion project with more than just recreating the notes plus some flair. I really enjoyed your take on it. Rock on, brother. Edit: I've come back and listened to it several times now. Your production quality is really, really clean too. A lot to appreciate here.
