Hey man, what do you use to straighten the cross string at the end after knotting off at the top? Seems like an awl but not that sharp. Thanks, dont want to hurt my string with a sharp awl.

In higher tension string curling is a big problem., last night a string slightly brushed off its colour as it was so curled up and i pulled forcefully.
