Nimbus is an attractive alternative to Evernote but it doesn't have some features which are useful to me, like note-encryption to hide the content of sensitive notes; and quick access to frequently used folders and tags: in Nimbus only notes can be favorited. For these reasons I still prefer Evernote. Also i think that nimbus doesn't have enough visibility on social networks.

I use Evernote Personal, and I keep trying other note-taking apps, but keep coming back to Evernote.I will probably upgrade this year to Professional. Been some growing pains with it one the last year. It is always dependable for me.

I am a huge fan of Nimbus Note-Business Plan because I can use it for just about any project. I have experience with Evernote and it is not bad.

Nothing beats the simplicity of a 'notebook'

Evernote is becoming less productive with all the complexity they've added to it. The tasks feature is weak and the calendar requires the highest subscription in order to take advantage of ALL features. I'm an Evernote subscriber, but I'm looking for an alternative. Oh, and the Evernote Android experience is not good. Notes with tables don't display well on a small screen and entering data, adding photos on Android is a struggle. It can be done, but it's difficult.

Nimbus is amazing value - Nimbus Clarity not just the clipper comes with Nimbus Notes - basically a cloudapp clone.

I was about to move to Zoho Notebook, then I imported all my Evernote stuff in it. It became non responsive on the iPhone.
Now looking in depth at Nimbus . The export to PDF is not what it sounds like.
If you already have a PDF in the note it does not export to PDF.
You can use export to HTML, but that gives you jibberish filenames. In the PDF file.
Obsidian is best, but there is no built in OCR. And i am not having some public service scan all my files to get it.
Looking elsewhere too, need the text search in images and PDF.

Like Zoho because it works on Apple watch. Evernote removed that feature.

I got so tired of the lack of granular permissions issues and multiple heirarchical options of all 3 of these that i'm writing my own competitor. They're all bad at conditionally exposing a public knowledgebase etc.

Nimbus was my favorite though.

Only one thing keeps me away from Evernote now: the awfully small font size on iOS.

I have used this notebook for very long. But, those who are storing any confidential information(software codes, password or anything secret), keep in mind that they see everything and they know your precise location. They can sell your software code to third party easily.

Zoho Notebook is not all-free anymore, the free version is now limited to 2GB. They've even taken away the 5GB storage (and possibly other features) from existing users, which is kind of an evil move and does not induce trust in the company.
