Amen, I was blessed for 23 years with my American Quarter Stock, Sorrel Flaxen mare. She was my everything. At 9 I earned her after grooming, mucking, feeding & exercising other horses in the stable, and continued to earn her board and vet care, gear, and treats. I'm now 61 and planning to adopt a senior mare. God willing we will share a good 10-20 years sharing trust and love❤❤❤❤

I knew my heart horse for 6 months but it felt like a lifetime, I can't explain how much I loved that horse and I couldn't even ride her. We had to give her away because I'll be honest the owner of the barn just didn't want her there anymore and I didn't have anywhere to keep her at the time. I miss her so much she was the reason I think I really realized that being an equestrian was my purpose
