The most significant breakthrough in assisted reproduction was the birth of Louise Brown through IVF on 25th July 1978 in England. To commemorate the birth of the “first IVF baby” and raise awareness regarding various assisted reproductive technologies available to address infertility, 25th July is observed as World IVF Day every year.
