The same happened here in south Italy on Monte Stella, there were ancient ruins of a whole town on top of this mountain, everything reported before WWI, then the US placed a Loran base there and all the ruins vanished, but a Dolmen of 10k years remained a couple of km down the mountain, the height of Monte Stella is 1000 meters. It's belived that the ancient town was a very known establishment back 3000 years ago, they think it was Petillia.

Look at ALL of the significant and even lesser known places/stories/inventions from ancient history and you’ll notice this happens with A LOT of them. No public or archeological access, no one is allowed near unless you have clearance.. Kind of makes you think, if these places or stories had no significance or merit, why go through all the trouble? You don’t spend millions on a facility, security, and scientists every year just to do NOTHING. Some places are taken over for decades before anyone from the outside is allowed access, even then it’s very few. Do your research and start asking more questions. Civilization is missing a vital piece to our story and unless we figure it out ourselves, that information will always be dangled over our heads, just out of reach by the ones who want to keep us complacent.
