I am curious how the current users got them though because normally when a DF user dies the next closest fruit turns into a DF.. so the fact that they got them while they were supposed to be in Wano (?) is very interesting to me

I love that they once belonged to two enemies of Wano but now they belong to two of our strongest allies that saved our lives so we could get to Wano and liberate it. Really poetic

there is actually 3 old devil fruit users right after the enies lobby arc there was a villian for luffy to fight he had the heat heat fruit the new owner is charlotte oven we dont know when he obtained the fruit but we can safely say the old owner is dead
