Was asked to fix this 1998 Suzuki RMX 250 for as cheap as possible. They beat the balls off of it until it It shut off. Was told it badly overheated and there was a ton of smoke.

please dont add music! learning is about hearing sounds too. also the way you talk about mechanics, makes so much sense. you have got to be one of the best mechanical teachers on youtube

I was not liking the beginning with out your comments. I think it’s relatable to hear you discuss mechanics. You are the voice in every dudes head when we are working our own projects.

The engine sounds awesome and should last a long time. I like when you talk and ramble on about everything. Thumbs UP to you.

That sounds takes me back to my old 1973 250 Elsinore. Man, that was some tech back then. Today's bikes are light years ahead. we never dreamed of a liquid-cooled two-stroke.

Cheers from Louisiana.

Really like your style and commentary. First vid I watched of yours was the wagon. Super-entertaining, but instructive as well. I've been building hot rods for on 40 yrs. now too. Probably the best on YouTube, IMO. Please keep 'em coming - I know what a lot of work it is to shoot and edit etc. You got great helpers though!

top video mate, as a kid i bought a no compression 1982 rm465 and the barrel was so badly marked that the fella at the wreckers sold me a 1983 rm500 barrel and i bought a new piston 1 size overbore as i had to get that ol 500 barrell bored out, slapped it back together and it had so much compression for a 14 year ol that i had to use 2 copper headgaskets to lower the compression but it still went like a freight train

@Chris, your knowledge is Gold, dude! I love listening to you explain EVERYTHING about mechanics... A video without your voice would be kind of soulless IMHO, but, hey!, this is your channel and whatever you want to do with it, I will keep watching! Take care and stay safe, Sir!💪

typically i really like the no talking videos because i love the noise of a shop and if you want to do more videos like that i'm all in but i would say no music but again only because i prefer the shop noises. that being said your bread and butter (i think) is your commentary! you do a great job of teaching and explaining what you're doing or what to look for when working on the project. that's my feedback but i really enjoyed this video, cool to see you experiment with different video styles
