Το van 500 της Knaus, ειναι από περυσι που πρωτοπαρουσιάστηκε η πιο καινοτομα κι ολοκληρωμενη προταση και σε ελαχιστα μετρα προσφέρει περισσότερα ακομα κι απο 6.5μετρα !
Μακαρι να το ακολουθησουν κι αλλοι κατασκευαστές και γιατί οχι, να το βελτιωσουν, αφου σε αυτές τις διατάξεις ειναι το μέλλον, σε εναν απαιτητικό, πιο οικολογικό αλλά και πιο φτωχο κόσμο !

Rented one of these things last year for a 2+ week trip to Norway.

Things that I liked, good VW engine and gearbox, excellent brakes that are properly sized for the vehicle - unlike many large Fiat conversions for example!

The bed is uncomfortable on the shower side because someone decided to put some braces on top of the shower/bed frame that dig into the person who is sleeping's legs!! Absolutely never thought out the design.

The shower is impossible to move if the van is at any sort of forward tilt. Additionally its drains are quite poor and clog up easily. The sink basin did not slide all they way out of the toilets way so it was stabbing us in our back if you had to sit on the toilet... Forget sitting on the throne browsing the internet!

Suspension is too soft in the rear even with stiffer springs. The van wallows all over the road and tends to drive with the back sagging if you load it up with any kind of load - we didn't have more than 60kg in the garage btw. Due to that we where constantly being blinked at by oncoming traffic due to lights being too high. Again whoever signed off on this vans design never even drove it afterwards.

Due to the very soft suspension getting in and out of the van causes it to sway about quite badly. Even my dog would cause the van to bomb about when he was getting in.

Compared to the Knaus Van Meg 640 based on the Crafter - this vehicle is absolutely horrible. Consider the fact that there are many for sale new with 20k € rebates, should tell you how well they are selling - besides to rental fleets.

With the top bed down, the bathroom is inaccessible for most people. The ladder gets in the way of the bathroom door, and the person from the top must then remove it and then they can get inside. There is no room for 4 people inside this van.

Terrible camper, worst bathroom/shower concept I've ever seen. Stopped watching after seen the shower !!

Die Qualität war eine Katastrophe. Zwischendurch war das Angebot 49k€ aber wir haben trotzdem darauf verzichtet. Dusche und tritthilfe unter aller Sau.
