most bluetooth speakers use some kind of a DSP(digital signal processoer) system in order to prevent distortion at hige levels
that creates a hugh difference dynamic wise between different vol levels.

every speaker has its own sweet spot which from my tests of different speakers is ususally between 60-80% vol level.

that somtimes heavy processing creates a reduction of bass and an increase in mids and highs to prevent distortion, and comes out as
very compressed sounding.

this video demonstrates this effect
best advice is to find that sweet spot and not go up to eleven !!!

Nice comparison video with everything is constant for fair play. I'm surprised both units compressed so much at 100% volume, like the bass went out the window. The b&o wins at 60% volume but is quite pricey, thus lessening the credit.

i was pretty surprised how good flip 3 sounded. i thinked that in comparison with beoplay a1 it will sound like toy but it doesn't. i am really surprised. ☺

Please play some different types of music in your tests.... You really do not give a proper sound test using the same genre of music all the time.
