Frank and Hawk did make up. They just did it like guys do. Hell, Hawk even sneaked an "I love you, Frank, but ..." into their last argument. That's as close as most guys are going to come to what you wanted!

What I love about 90s and 2000s films is that they weren't all trying to be high and mighty masterpieces. They just were what they were, and we had so much more variety to enjoy. I love that I can throw this one on when I want something lighter that still has the general spectacle of a great adventure film.

This movie will always have a very special place in my heart. This was the last movie I saw with my dad in a theater. We never really talked a whole lot with each other before this movie. He liked Clint & James Garner and figured he'd like this. He liked it so much, we talked about it on the drive home, talked about it during dinner, all that night, and the next few days. Space Cowboys opened a long-closed door between us! We both agreed that Hawk was the big winner; he made it to the moon, walked on it, and died doing what he loved. Thank you for the great reaction and the priceless memories!

You combine a great script, a director who knows what he's doing, 4 of the greatest actors of the last 50 years, and you get a movie like "Space Cowboys". Fun, heart warming, laughter, tears all in one movie. And as for Hawk and Frank making up, they did. It wasn't the makeup Cassie wanted, but for "men of a certain age" and from that generation, makeups are not mushy, and they're not extended talking. This was realistic. I love this movie, and it didn't get the love it deserves in the theaters

Clint Eastwood stated that he was not going to do this movie as it was unbelievable, and then John Glenn became the oldest person to travel to space at age 77 in 1998. so it became a feasible event and Eastwood made the film.

This is the most pre 9.11 movie you can get and still feel like the 2000s. After this one, movies changed forever.

As Sinatra sings Fly Me to the Moon, and 'Hawk's looking at Earth, from his home away from home, it's perfectly, peacefully powerful... especially as, also like Frank's song, he did it his|My Way!🎼

I was actually in the studio audience when they filmed the Jay Leno scene. It was an actual show they were taping, and they just brought out the actors when that day's show was done taping. They weren't talking into the studio microphones, so no one could actually hear what they were saying.

Best thing about some movies is casting them with a bunch of old actors WHO know HOW. And they turn on the charisma, steal the movie, and everybody has a good time.

Kelly’s Heroes is a great WWII comedy/action film with a great cast. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

You will LOVE Frequency!! It is such a great movie! Hawk went out the way he wanted to. I mean, he made it to the moon instead of dying of Cancer. Old men don't talk to each other like that, sometimes a nod of the head is all it takes, you sweet hearted woman. This was Grumpy Old Men in Space.
