Man, when you said one of the biggest mistakes a trucker could make, i immediately thought of like 6-7things thats worse than spilling a load...LotLizard held the top-3 spots 😂

If they were to reject it, you could take it home. Back in the day, before you and I were born, my dad was a trucker and cameras was rare. So, when he would make deliveries at one location, he had a friend who would "inspect" the shipment and find several "boxes" damaged and will need to be thrown out. They fill out the paperwork to report it to the insurance company, etc. Here's the thing, it wasn't damage. It was a few cases of beer or other non perishable. Sometimes other truckers would take it from the trash and leave 😅

I’m glad you fixed it, I got to stock some pretty messed up pallets sometimes and they take way more time to do. Thank you

when i used to unload trucks at a grocery store the trucks would always come in with tipped over pallets id just take the power jack and ram it against the wall to try to straighten it out then try to pick it up from the leaning side

At the produce warehouse I worked at couple years back we would put large airbags or corrugated material on each side to avoid this.

My truck drivers won’t even do that. They just brush it off like nothing happened. I’ve been pushing for them to use straps but they refuse!

The mistake here is the packaging. They put the straps on the side but did not put straps on top to secure it much more better. It could've been your fault for it tipping over, but the mistake started from whoever did that packaging.

When my uncle used to deliver pallets of Perdue chicken, if they even had a ding on the pallet they would reject it. We would just end up with a bunch of Perdue chicken for dinner and lunch 😂

Probably for a big box store. Cause it’s a Chep Pallet.
