On the steam community market, it will price it after your currency, so most of the numbers that aren't round and are seemingly random probably aren't selling in the same currency

The guy that listed the hat for 62.something $ was probably not American. My steam community market does not display the prices in USD, so if I list something, I'm listing it in NOK, and it gets converted to USD when you see it. So unless I actually bother to calculate what the USD price looks like, it's probably gonna end up looking kinda wonky

I think you forgot to mention that other currencies exist. Your nice looking 49.95 won't have that psychological effect on anyone outside of the US (except if they set their currency in steam).

Don't forget follow the Bird of Prey's example for how to be a trader/ gamer in general always be kind and helpful sure you can rage every now and again but keep it to yourself if you rage quit calm down for a little before joining another match so you don't bring negativity just be humble and kind (to your best ability) like I give new players/ traders items to get them started off even though I'm broke I try if you can't just give them some tips and if you end in a situation where a trader is clueless and tries to give you 5 keys for a let's say a Galvanized Gibus (nothing special about it) tell them to give you less and teach them how to properly trade and how to find the correct amount in stead of just abusing it, etc. basically like I've said be humble, kind, and modest
