✅Ingredients

• ½ cup butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup milk
• 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

✅Instructions

1️⃣ Line a muffin tin with paper liners. Lightly grease paper liners with nonstick cooking spray.

2️⃣ 00:00:19 - In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together butter and sugar, about two minutes.

3️⃣ 00:00:34 - Beat in eggs until combined. Add in the baking powder, salt, and vanilla and mix briefly.

4️⃣ 00:00:56 - Add in half of flour, mix with hand mixer until just combined, then add in the milk, stirring to combine. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl and add in the remaining flour until just combined.

5️⃣ 00:01:36 - Add the chocolate chips to the batter and use a rubber spatula to gently fold them in.

6️⃣ 00:01:42 - Divide the batter up amongst the 12 muffins. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Let the batter rest while the oven preheats.

7️⃣ 00:02:23 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Reduce the heat in the oven to 350 degrees after 7 minutes. Watch the muffins closely as cooking times may vary depending on your oven.

8️⃣ 00:02:31 - Let muffins cool for 5 minutes in the pan before removing them and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

PERFECT! I listened to one of the comments on here saying to leave the muffins in at 425 for only FIVE minutes then drop the temp to 375 for the remainder 15 minutes & they came out PERFECT! I almost left them in for 5 more minutes but then decided not to. They were the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

• 272g all-purpose flour

Thank you so much for your recipe! I did great the first time I tried it! To those who are having burnt muffins, you could set your temp. at 180C and bake it for 25 minutes. Of course you have to preheat your oven at 180C for 10 minutes. 😊 It tasted really good btw!

Omg these came out great, thank you for the recipe. I just changed the temp settings a bit, started out with 425°F and kept the muffins in the oven with that temp for 5 mins, then lowered it to 350° to cook them fully for about 20 minutes, they were fully baked, just not the golden brown color I wanted so, I cranked up the heat to 400°F in the end for just about 2 minutes, as soon as they got the perfect color, I pulled them out. So fluffy and delicious, great recipe.

Almost forgot: Leave the oven to 425 for only FIVE Minutes, THEN turn it down to 375, otherwise the bottoms will burn...

I usually dont make comments but this recipe is so easy and delicious to make. I substitute the chocolates for blueberries and oml they are just as good! The goodness of the blueberries top ot off. Definitely try these!!!!🥧🥧❤

I made this just now.
Tastes perfect but my 1st batch were uneven and some batter even drifted out, the top is also a little burnt.
For 2nd batch i adjusted the temp to 350F only, and baked for around 23min, , they came out perfect.
Crisp on the top and fluffy inside. Thanks for the recipe.
Gonna make this again for my kiddo.

This is an AMAZING muffin. I'm can actually TASTE the butter in the final result. My oven cooks fast, so I only needed 15 minutes of bake time. Can't wait to make them again!
