FYI: The Mandela effect is when many people believe that something happened when, in reality, it never did. These groups are adamant that they can remember an incident or specific experience, even when it is demonstrably incorrect.

In 2010, this phenomenon was dubbed the "Mandela Effect" by paranormal researcher Fiona Broome, who reported having vivid and detailed memories of news coverage of South African anti-Apartheid leader Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s. (Mandela actually died in 2013, after serving as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.) Broome reported that "perhaps thousands" of other people had the same memory of Mandela's death, and speculated that the phenomenon could be evidence of parallel realities.

Other examples include memories of the title of the Berenstain Bears children's books being spelled Berenstein or the logo of clothing brand Fruit of the Loom featuring a cornucopia.

True story: My daughter was over a while back, and somehow the discussion turned to The Mandela effect, and during the conversation, my wife called it "The Mandalorian Effect." It's been a running joke ever since.

I have no idea how Julie makes these videos. The conversation looks so natural despite there only being one actor.

I once heard someone call Canada "Maple Syrup Land" and I, a Canadian, was absolutely okay with that name. LOL

I tried claiming the Mandela effect when disputing a dinner bill, they just didn't believe I had no memory of eating a meal.

Again...I ended up watching the closing few seconds purely because of the poem. The sketches are always creative, real, and hilarious, but this new poem bit is amazing... Advertisers take notice!

I love that she went through the whole video without actually discussing why it’s called the Mandela effect to begin with

"Mirror, mirror" is arguably correct, though. It's the exact translation of the original phrase in Grimms' Tales.
