Keep in mind y'all: Apple PURPOSEFULLY focused on power OVER battery with the M1 Pro and Max bc power is what is most important for pros. I bet the M2 coming next year will be more focused on longer battery.

Part of the reason why apple doesn’t want to put bigger batteries on laptops is airplane regulations… not all airlines are okay with the greater than 5500- 6000 mAh packs. So they decided that efficiency was more important than sticking a bigger battery into it

If you are flying on an airplane, you can plug your computer in. If you are flying without an airplane, battery life is the least of your concerns.

Good review, it's sooo close to actually answering the battery dilemma between Pro and Max chips but not quite! Would be nice to have a simple playback test between the 2 chips on the same chassis to see the difference in battery life.
