That is Shawn Pelton drumming and on this song he is keeping the energy bridled so that the passion is just straining to get out... Just the right amount of tension in this cat's playing. It's one thing to notice how incredibly he grooves. It is quite another to actually stay centered in the song and do this.... There is a whole DVD with him drumming on it.... it is amazing....
