To only have 1 committed in the 2026 class is alarming! I remember how we (Alabama) would have guys committed for 3 years' ahead of the current year. I succinctly blame the NIL and transfer portal!! The NIL and transfer portal are a catalyst in killing the game we all love so very much! There needs to be a CAP on this NIL and a limit on how many times a player can transfer. Some of these kids will not even go to the NFL because they have made enough money in college to live comfortably for many years. And OMGOSH, the impact that would have on the NFL.

Alabama's not talking about it and neither are the fans but the thing we need the most or defensive lineman guys that can stop the run and get pressure on the quarterback cuz we don't have that and we still haven't gotten anybody in the portal I mean Kelby Collins is an oversized Edge rusher and we need more than him and rumors about Peter Woods leaving Clemson to come to Alabama that's the kind of guy I'm talking about and of course Kelby Collins and him were highly coveted by Nick Saban a few years back and they both went to other places and then there's Justice finkley who last year was supposed to go to Bama but he didn't he went to Texas and now he's out in the portal.
But there's Elijah Davis from South Carolina 6'3 295, Kyron borda 6'5 300 lb from Arizona State and Travis Shaw from UNC 6'5 335 or Peter woods 6'2 315. I would go after Elijah Davis and Kyron borda and if Peter Woods is available you better get on him like white on rice. We need at least two or three big interior defensive lineman
