COVID-19: Millions more people in England moved into Tier 4

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced more areas in the UK will be placed under Tier 4 restrictions.

The Midlands, North East, parts of the North West and parts of the South West are among those escalated to Tier 4, with almost all remaining areas escalated to Tier 3.

It means three quarters of the country will be under the toughest Tier 4.
