This is a very good question and very informative video. Here in the desi countries, all 3 India Pak Bangladesh, people don't use perfume that has alcohol.
Indeed alcohol is a chemical functional group. It is found naturally in ripe fruits. The thing which is haram is that which intoxicates and makes a person high- even a drop of it is haram. Wine intoxicates

Not only that, you’re not consuming the toothpaste. You’re cleaning with it. Alcohol is not najis. You can clean with it. You just can’t consume it.

As salam aaleykum, also we can say that the toothpaste is not supposed to be eaten, it isn’t food.

Is it halal or haram when it contains glycol and glycerin (glycerin os pig bones) and glycerin is pig and half alcohol

by that logic, if a beer has 0.3% of alcohol, does that mean that beer is halal?

1:51 But I thought anything intoxicating in large amounts is haram to consume even in small amounts? Where in the Hadith or w/e does it say 0.03% is fine? This isn't like hand sanitizer or cologne; the alcohol in this context absolutely gets consumed, because alcohol can absorb buccaly (through the cheeks) so swallowing isn't even required
