This is my entry for the Mayones Guitars & Seymour Duncan pickups competition.
This is the most fun I've had with any contest, mainly because the backing track is just so badass :D
I hope the judges dont mind me adding a few extras here and there.

This would be the winner hands down if I was judging. There's some amazing stuff in the other vids, but in addition to your flawless technique, what I really love is the passion in your playing. Moreover, what is masterful is the way the emotional journey is shaped as time progresses - like a well-constructed story it builds up and breaks down so elegantly. And I can't listen to any of the other competition entries without wanting to hear that divebomb! :-D

This one is the best that i've seen too. It's the first time that i feel that the backing track was made for the solo and not the contrary. All is perfect, from the melody to the ambiance and your playing. I really feel Marco sfogli influence in your style. Finally, congratulation for your mix, its sounds really awesome, all is clear in my ears :).

Honestly, I think myself and most of the comments on all of the entries point to yours being the best. It's got a very great mix of technical skill, melody, emotion, and genrea mixing. I hear power metal, melodic death metal, epic metal etc. Congrats on the badass solo!

I think you are the best out of those 10 finalists because you caught the atmosphere of the track and it's not just mindless "shredding here, shredding there" or "let me show you everything I've learnt since I started playing guitar" stuff most of your competitors showed.
