oh okay, thank you! i love the way the air noise sounds so i ordered one of those with a few other products the other day for your website just waiting till wednesday for when it all arrives, i have only driven trucks so this is the first time im doing anything like this to a car with aftermarket parts.. so im a lil excited but figured i should probably figure out what i just bought and what its all about lol.. thanks for you time!

That refers to where the excess air goes when the throttle plate closes. Most cars use a recirculating setup from the factory. Switching to atmospheric will give you the familiar blow off valve noise but may cause the car to get slightly angry. The car is tuned to have the air recirculated back to the intake, when you vent it the car has already metered that air so it expects it to go in the intake. When it does not, the ecu has added fuel for air that is not there and it can cause issues.
