In this session we cover chapters 40 and 41 of Prophets and Kings. Prophets and Kings was first published in 1917 and covers biblical history from the time of Solomon through to the end of the Old Testament. This is "Part 2" of OT with DA because we've already done Part 1, Patriarchs and Prophets. If you haven't already followed along with that reading challenge, please do! I think you'll love it! All the videos are here on my channel.

This reading challenge will take us through all 60 chapters of Prophets and Kings. You can watch either here on YouTube or LIVE on Instagram. The videos are also archived on my Instagram page, but the sound and video quality are better here on YouTube.

Thank you for tuning in and I hope you stay with us for the whole book.

Blessings and love!

I always appreciate Pastor DA openly speaking against abortion. This is unlike many other church leaders.

Lord allow me to see you as I am being cast into the fire so that my fears may melt away.

The text doesn't say that the statue is being destroyed slowly but it stand until the day when Jesus returns and THEN it's all being destroyed. Almost seems like there is something the statue stands for, as in a certain mindset or religion/worship that remains until its finally removed and not be found anymore.
Thank you God for enabling DA and EH to keep up this awesome sessions!

St. Julian was tested by a terrible pestilence recently. He still hasn't reached a level of perfect sinlessness.

I think you're not being fully consistent in your answer. The question about whom God puts in power cannot be answered by who is responsible for what type of person these awful rulers turned into. Babylon had one of the savage rulers destroying nations left and right, yet God used Nebuchadnezar as His servant. Yes, God does not make cruel rulers so He can put them to use within His plans. And yes, God is in control over who reigns and who does not. That's not a paradox. The answer to why God allowed a certain ruler to come to power cannot be our temporary happiness but the certainty that God has a mighty plan to fulfill the eternal purpose for His people.
