As a person who got one of their memes stolen, I completely agree. I got a little angry when I found out my meme was stolen. I commented on the video, and a lot of people agreed with me too, but the creator didn’t do anything about it.

my hazbin meme of lucifer holding a duck model is making the rounds across the fandom which is crazy but i wish i was getting credit for it

I’ve had this on my mind for a while now and I totally agree. This is getting out of hand and it’s so unoriginal and I’ve seen some steal my work and I’m not happy about it.

This community has been striving to find heroes like you around the entire platform for the longest time, and now we’ve found one. I salute thee.. 🫡

I'm still on your side when I say this, but...

...at least they admit they stole them.

Sadly I'm a victim of having one of my videos stolen from me by one of these meme channels

Good video! And yes I agree 100% that it’s important to credit peoples original work, and if people try to do things but if they don’t know what they are doing, they should be corrected and people that correct them can help them.

I appreciate you spreading this vital message. Respecting other people's labor and creativity requires giving credit where credit is due. Whenever you use someone else's creative work, whether it be in the form of writing, music, art, or any other creative endeavor, you must give them credit for their contributions. It not only expresses gratitude for their work but also encourages honesty and openness in artistic communities. Let's all make an effort to follow these guidelines and make sure that appropriate credit is given whenever we share or utilize someone else's creation.

Three words about the "meme theft" issue we have to put up with (and I totally agree)

Disgraceful!
Disgusting!
Despicable!

I couldn't agree more, taking another person's work and putting it in a compilation without crediting them and calling it "content" is outright lazy and unacceptable. I hope these people soon realise what they are doing is just stupid and unoriginal.

Yes People need to stop stealing other people's work and claiming its their own it's just ridiculous and its not right by any means 😠

THANK YOU! For putting this video up, I got one of my videos stolen where Gordon was on a track and derailed while there is some random sounds in the background. And I had to delete it.

Its so annoying when I cannot find certain memes.

Unfortunately its not going to change, this has existed in the entirety of the Internets existence.

Now that you mention this topic now, I can’t help but agree. If your gonna use or take someone’s content then at least credit them, or just don’t do it period

Blud coulda said this in any possible language, but he chose to speak language of facts

Was gonna comment something about my meme being stolen but you featured my tweet anyway. Cheers for that🤣

Even I'm starting to think it's unfair

Aren't all meme completions like that?

If you want them to take notice to stop, just contact them directly in any way, even by mentioning them if necessary. Rant videos don't seem to have much effect on them, and more often than not, they'll keep making them for views. It's just the state of the Internet nowadays, and it's too difficult to change it.
